I use MacPerl to send random laughter to the #perl channel on IRC (ha heh ho hoo hee).

I use MacPerl to process bounced e-mail messages, extracting relevant headers and creating reports.

I use MacPerl to test code snippets for larger Perl programs on Unix boxes.

I use MacPerl to start RealAudio programs at certain times of day.

I use MacPerl to save audio files from CDs onto hard disk.

I use MacPerl to remind me to stop working at the end of the day, by playing a MIDI QuickTime file at 1630 hrs.

I use MacPerl to preprocess index files from other sources into usable data for other Perl programs.

I use MacPerl to wake me up when I'm on the road, by speaking "Wake up, Stupid" to me over and over again at 0700 hrs.

I use MacPerl to attempt to ping a remote machine and beep at me when successful.

I use MacPerl to generate random football picks every week.

I use MacPerl to do what I need to get done.
