My company had developed a dynamic site that uses a database and several CGI
programs written in Perl, and running under Unix. But, we needed to copy this
site on a CD to show it Off Line... So, we used MacPerl to edit some of the
original Perl files and wrote a lot of HTML files to a Hard Disk (instead of
generating them on the fly), and then we could copy a 'hard copy' of this
dynamic site to our CD! MacPerl allowed us to do it quickly and easy.
