MacPerl programs have proven quite useful in our company. Applications developed in-house include:

• A script that formats Billboard music charts for data analysis.

• A script that converts online classified ad listings from HTML to database form.

• Source code analyzers that produce function-call trees from both C++ and Perl code.

• Scripts that automate processing of FrameMaker MIF files.
